Italy
Mountains, lakes and sea, and a dense network of aree di sosta.
Sleeping outside campsites
Depends on the place- A motorhome may park wherever a car may. Camping (levelling legs, awning, tables, draining water) is not allowed outside designated areas.
- Towns near beaches and old centres often have their own motorhome bans.
Tip: Do not drive into old towns: ZTL zones are camera-enforced and fines reach foreign plates too.
