From our trips

Spain: an escape from winter

Out of season Spain is a different country: emptier beaches, less traffic and an easy pace. Morning coffee with a sea view, a walk along the coast and a sunset without crowds.

When winter at home gets you down, head for southern Spain.

Good to know: You may sleep where you may park, as long as nothing sticks out. In the south it is around 15 °C by day even in winter.

This route and six more, 15 countries rated, tolls and winter in a van are all in the booklet.
