Fly to Tirana and pick up a car at the airport. Tirana to Berat is about 2 hours, Berat to Gjirokastër about 3.5 hours, then about 1.5 hours to Ksamil. From Himarë back to the airport via Llogara and Vlorë takes about 3.5 hours.
