Who processes your data

The controller is a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 07325991, email yourwayaway@post.cz.

What data and why

Orders: name, email and trip details from the form (dates, number and ages of travellers, interests, wishes). We process them to prepare and deliver your guide (performance of a contract) and to issue a payment receipt (legal obligation).

Free comparison: email and trip details, so we can send you the comparison (at your request and with your consent).

The shared “Want to see” list in the guide stores only the names the customer enters and the places they mark.

Pip’s tip by email and free guide: your email and language, so we can send you tips and offers (based on your consent). The same applies when you download a free ready-made guide with your email. You can withdraw consent at any time with the link in the email or by writing to yourwayaway@post.cz, and we will delete your email.

Ready-made guides (PDF): payment goes through Stripe, which shares your email and payment details with us for the receipt (performance of a contract and legal obligation).

Please include only information needed for the trip. We do not require health data.

How long

We keep form data while the guide is being prepared and available, for no more than 24 months after delivery. Data on receipts is kept for the period required by accounting and tax law. Emails from the free comparison are deleted within 6 months unless you order a guide.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We use technical services: Netlify, Inc. (website hosting and form handling) plus an email inbox at Seznam.cz, a.s. the bank mBank S.A., Czech branch, and Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (receiving payments; card payments are processed by Stripe and we never see your card details). Netlify may process data outside the EU under contractual safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time by email. You can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

Cookies

The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Links to booking sites (Booking.com, Agoda, GetYourGuide and others) may be affiliate links through Travelpayouts: a Travelpayouts script adjusts them when the page loads, and if you book through them we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. After you click, the destination site may set its own cookie to attribute the commission. Visits are measured with GoatCounter, which uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses or other data that could identify you. We only see totals, such as how many people visited each page and where they came from. Your browser only stores, on your device, an unfinished order (so you do not lose it, for up to 30 days) and, inside the guide, who you selected under “Who are you”.
